Terms of Service.
Last updated: August 10, 2026
Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Jeopardy Room (https://jeopardyroom.com) and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, hosting or joining a game, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Description of the Service
Jeopardy Room lets hosts create Jeopardy-style trivia boards, run live games, and invite players to join from their own devices. Features may include AI-assisted board generation, public board discovery, subscription plans, and optional integrations with third-party platforms such as TikTok and Pinterest for sharing short-form video content about public boards.
Eligibility
You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to create an account or purchase a paid plan. If you use the Service on behalf of a school, company, or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at support@jeopardyroom.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the Service or other users.
Subscriptions, billing, and refunds
Paid plans, pricing, and feature limits are described on our pricing page and at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically according to the billing interval shown at purchase unless canceled through the customer billing portal. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider; we do not store complete payment card numbers.
Except where required by law or expressly stated at checkout, fees are non-refundable once a billing period has begun. You may cancel future renewals at any time through the billing portal linked from your account.
User content and license
You retain ownership of boards, clues, and other content you create ("User Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute User Content solely as needed to operate and improve the Service — for example, to save your boards, run a live game, or show a board you choose to make public in our browse gallery.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit User Content and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, harassing, or infringing activity;
- upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the Service or its users;
- scrape, reverse engineer, or abuse APIs except as expressly permitted;
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
- use the Service to send spam or unsolicited promotional messages;
- circumvent plan limits, access controls, or rate limits.
We may remove content or restrict access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms or protect users.
Product emails
We send product tips only after you explicitly opt in. You can unsubscribe at any time from Account settings or the unsubscribe link included in each message. We maintain suppression and delivery records so an opt-out is respected and messages are not duplicated.
Third-party services, TikTok, and Pinterest integration
The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services, including TikTok Login Kit, the TikTok Content Posting API, and Pinterest's developer APIs. Your use of those services is subject to the third party's terms and policies. When you enable a social integration, you authorize us to perform the actions you request within the permissions you approve, such as uploading an original video and linking it to a public Jeopardy Room board.
We are not responsible for third-party platforms, their availability, moderation decisions, or changes to their APIs. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with TikTok's community guidelines and posting rules before publishing content on TikTok or Pinterest.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and documentation (excluding User Content), is owned by Jeopardy Room or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service except as allowed by these Terms or applicable law.

Disclaimer of warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JEOPARDY ROOM AND ITS OPERATORS, SUPPLIERS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.
Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Jeopardy Room and its operators from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Except where prohibited by law, you agree that exclusive jurisdiction for disputes relating to these Terms or the Service will lie in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction that grants mandatory local rights, nothing in these Terms limits those non-waivable rights.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
