BUILT FOR THE MOMENT

Less setup. More people playing.

01

Join in seconds

Players scan the QR code on the host screen or type the room code at jeopardyroom.com, enter a name, and they are in.

02

Fair, first-buzz lockout

Buzzers open when the host opens the floor. The first buzz wins the clue and everyone else's phone shows who was faster.

03

The host stays in charge

Mark answers right or wrong and scores update automatically. A player who misses can't buzz again on that clue, so others get their chance.

  3. 3

    Buzz in

Read the clue, open the floor, and the fastest phone gets to answer.

WHY JEOPARDY ROOM

Buzzers that work like the show

Jeopardy Room is a Jeopardy buzzer app that runs entirely in the browser. The host runs the board on a laptop or shared screen, and players use the phone already in their pocket. There is nothing to download and players never create an account.

Buzzing works like the show. Players see FLOOR CLOSED while you read the clue. When you open the floor, the first buzz to reach the server wins and every other phone locks and shows who got there first. Mark the answer correct and the points are added; mark it wrong and the points come off, and that player sits out the rest of the clue while the others can buzz.

Live buzzers and hosting are included on the free plan for up to 30 players. Pro raises the cap to 50 players and adds clue timers. Daily Doubles, a second round, and Final Jeopardy with private wagers are built in, and teams can share a buzzer when devices are limited.

Use it in a classroom, at a party, in the office, or over a video call. Because the buzzers are just web pages, they work on phones, tablets, laptops, and Chromebooks, and players in other places can buzz in too.

READY WHEN YOU ARE

FAQ

Common questions

Are the phone buzzers free?
Yes. Live buzzers and hosting are part of the free plan for up to 30 players. Pro ($5/month) raises the limit to 50 players.
Do players need to download an app or sign up?
No. Players scan the QR code or enter the room code in any browser, type a name, and buzz in. No app and no player accounts.
How does the buzzer decide who was first?
Buzzing opens when the host opens the floor. The first buzz the server receives wins the clue; everyone else's buzzer locks and shows who was faster.
What happens after a wrong answer?
The host marks it wrong, the clue's value is deducted, and that player can't buzz again on the same clue. The rest of the room can still buzz in.
Can I use it for remote games?
Yes. Share your screen on Zoom, Meet, or Teams and send the room code in chat. Players buzz from wherever they are.
